The Finnish Cosplay Championships will be held on Sunday, May 17th including three (3) different categories. The winners of the categories will form the Finnish Cosplay Championship team! In addition to this, there will be a competition for the best cosplay photograph of the year on Saturday, May 16th!

The Solo Variety Champion will be crowned from individual contestants who compete for the overall best costume and performance. The winner of the category will represent Finland at the 2026 E2C finals in France.

The Group Variety Champions are a pair who are selected with an emphasis on 60% performance and 40% costumes. The winners of the category will represent Finland at the 2026 ICL finals in Spain.

The Solo Craftsmanship Champion is selected based on 100% evaluation of the contestant's craftsmanship in costume making. The winner of the category will represent Finland at the 2026 ICL finals in Spain.

Photographers will compete for the best cosplay photograph of the year with revised judging criteria. Competition rules and evaluation criteria will be published during week 51.
