Hello everyone!
I'm Hellu, one of the Solo Variety judges, and I've been cosplaying for almost 18 years. I have competed and judged both in Finland and abroad, and I'm the Finnish Cosplay Champion of 2015 and 2025. Last time I competed in the Nordic Cosplay Championship final in Sweden as part of the team Finland and placed second.
As a cosplayer you can recognize me especially from video game characters which I like to choose from both new and older games. My technical strengths are working with Worbla, EVA-foam and heavier fabrics. I enjoy making costumes where different materials can be combined in a versatile and inventive way. I also appreciate entireties that are both technically meticulous and visually impressive. In performances I especially like the strong atmosphere and clear storytelling.
I wish all participants a wonderful competition and unforgettable moments on stage!

Hi, tammukka here! It's an honor to judge the Solo Variety category, I'm excited to see what the contestants have planned for us.
I got back into cosplay in 2023, and my most recent achievement is getting to represent Finland in the Extreme Cosplay Gathering 2025 finals in France. In costumes, I pay attention to fitting material choices and clean execution, I'm also always excited to see wigs up close! Easy to follow plot, strong storytelling and effective technical solutions are what I'm looking for in the performances.
See you backstage, good luck with the costumes and on stage!

Moimoi!
I am a Minervainen and cosplay has been actively involved in my life since 2012. I have entered cosplay competitions around the same time and have gained experience and placements from both costume- and performance-oriented competitions since then. The most recent and at the same time the most significant achievement in my cosplay hobby was getting the Finnish Cosplay Champion title in 2025, which also offered me a chance to represent Finland in the Europa Cosplay Cup finals in France!
For me, cosplay is a strong combination of craftsmanship and performance skills, and the best part is when the costume and performance, designed and executed to the end, together create a seamless end result. My trademark has been the quick costume changes on stage, which are nice and challenging enough at the same!
I look forward to seeing all the craftsmanship in the competitions, whether it is the perfectly lined seams, polished timing in the background audio or the extremely smooth armor. The performer in me is delighted when I see balanced and functional performance brought to the stage that in the best case will remain in the memory of the viewer for years.
Good luck contestantants for the final weeks!

Hello!
I am Pinja aka Pinyamiu. I have won several competitions in Finland such as the Finnish Cosplay Championship 3 times, and represented Finland in Japan, the UK, Spain and Netherlands, where we brought home silver.
As a cosplayer, I like to focus on all the little details and I love to tinker with everything by hand. I especially love embroidery. I am also a professional seamstress, so as a judge, I pay attention to the fit and finishing of the costume.
My favorite thing about cosplay is planning a big costume as well as studying and testing new techniques. I love to challenge myself, and right now I am studying adding motors and electrical parts to my future costume.
Good luck and remember to sleep before the competition! :)

Hello! My name is Karo and in February was my 18th anniversary of cosplaying. During that time, there has been a lot of competition in many different categories. My most recent achievement was 2nd place in the Finnish Cosplay Championships 2025 as the NCC runner-up. I am also especially proud of the "Best Prop" award I won in the same competition.
I'm probably best recognized for my performances. A clear story, rhythm and entertaining the audience are very important to me when creating performances. As for the costumes, anyone who knows me will confirm I'm eager to dye the fabrics. I'm very precise with the colors of my costumes, and I spend a lot of time in front of the dyeing pot.
I look forward to what the contestants will bring to the table, especially looking forward to seeing the performances. That's why my regards to the contestants are: perform with insight! The competition day is long and exhausting, so rest, eat and drink well so you can give your all in the performances!

Hey, everybody! I am Anni, familiarly peanutsuga in social media, and I am one of the Solo Craftsmanship judges. I started cosplaying in 2014, and over the years I have competed in both costume competitions and international cosplay competition qualifiers. Last summer I represented Finland in the World Cosplay Summit finals in Japan with my partner.
What I love most about cosplay is building different kinds of props, and my strengths are working with Worbla and EVA-foam. There is a little perfectionist inside me who could sand the surfaces of the props endlessly. Carefully considered material choices for creating the end result loyal to the character is also important to me. At the moment I am inspired by big projects in cosplay, where I get to use a variety of different techniques and challenge myself.
Good luck in the competition and finishing your costumes! Remember to rest well before the competition and above all, enjoy the day!
