I am a photographer and videographer as well as a visual storytelling professional. I work with light, composition and aesthetics on a daily basis, and approach each photo as a whole: what it says and how it feels.
I'm not familiar with the cosplay scene and that's exactly why I look at photos from a visual and narrative point of view above everything else. I pay attention to the visual solutions, the use of light, the technical quality and how strongly the photo conveys emotion to the viewer, who does not know the character beforehand.
I hope the contestants have the courage to trust their own vision. A strong photo always without the context as well.

As a photographer, you can mainly recognise me by cosplay photography. Educational background from the media field and career as graphic designer have established my knowledge in photography. Cosplay photography genuinely inspires me as a photographer, which has honed my skills in photography.
My photography and editing style is colorful and I especially love portraits. I love to use natural light and shoot in outdoor locations. My love is blooming for cosplay and portrait photography. Lately I've wanted to use more artificial light and reflective surfaces.
I love photo manipulation and my dreams revolve around it all the time. I have been able to do it more, thanks to my entrepreneurship.
If the photo makes the viewer look at it for a moment without words, then we know that there is something good in the photo! When judging I look for a technically clean and polished photo, and perhaps something unexpected that surprises me.

As a photographer, I especially enjoy taking cosplay photos, because I get to use my creativity and build a world fitting to the character's aesthetics. I have not participated in many competitions, but through camera clubs and Nordic competitions some of my photos have been awarded. I also participated in a cosplay photograph competition once, where I placed second. Creative work has always been close to my heart, and photography is a big part of it. For the future contestants, I wish good luck and success — remember that mastering photography takes practice and development takes time, but the only way is up.
